Flint and Xilo are transgender and neurodivergent husbands building a home and private practice together on their farm in the high desert of California.

With a combined sixteen years in public school teaching and seven degrees in education, child development, and social work between them, they are committed to fostering environments of learning, growth, and deep compassion for their clients of all ages, identities, and backgrounds. Whether you are attending one of their workshops, relying on their experience and expertise as consultants, or working one-on-one as a coaching client, it’s impossible to feel anything but wholly nurtured and deeply understood as they help you tune in more fully to your inner capacity for connection, both to yourself and the diverse world around you.

Who we are

  • (he/him)

Flint is a veteran transgender teacher who worked within California public schools for more than a decade and has since advanced queer advocacy as a speaker, consultant, author, and digital creator. He trains doctors and healthcare workers across the country in trans considerations within cancer care, teachers and parents in the developmental and cultural needs of trans youth, and businesses and organizations in the transformational power of empathy and self compassion.

His online content found its footing in early 2021 for his clear and concise messaging, original voice, and powerful presence. He has since spoken for businesses, universities, school districts, parent groups, and community events, leading workshops and Q&As for audiences of all sizes and experience levels.

In each of us there once was a fire, and for some of us there seem as if there are only ashes now. But when we dig in the ashes, we find one ember, and very gently we fan that ember. Blow on it, it gets brighter. And from that ember we rebuild the fire.

  • (he/him)

Xilo (shy-low) is a Mexican American, queer, and neurodivergent coach, social worker, and educator working to empower others to better understand themselves and thrive in a world designed to smother and dull our authenticity.

A returned Peace Corps volunteer and former elementary school teacher who has navigated unfriendly systems as a proud AuDHD, trans, and gay man, he centers the unique challenges of living with intersecting identities in an often rigid and inflexible world in his coaching of teens, adults, parents, and families.

He’s recently added a second master’s degree to his credentials (now holding advanced distinctions in both Education and Social Work), but is building a unique practice separate from the ableist and often discriminatory systems that keep so many neurodivergent and queer folks from entering and leading conversations in therapy.
